Whether called upon to give expert testimony during a claims investigation or a legal proceeding, human factors experts are increasingly sought out to opine about human behavior as it relates to premises liability issues such as: product liability, slip, trip and fall accidents, failure to warn, and industrial accidents. Through exploration of the science behind how the human brain processes information and the subsequent decisions and actions taken by individuals, human factors are an integral part of the expert-litigator/claims adjuster team. This course reviews how human error is often at the root of many premise liability cases.Expand summary
